Join the Bookworm Club! Structured reading over the summer break benefits the students by supporting language development, comprehension and it sparks the imagination! Therefore, CIS Library is offering our summer reading program, the Bookworm Club Challenge, to children from Pre-K through Grade 5.

Students who complete the challenge will receive a book as a gift as well as a Bookworm Club Challenge Certificate of Accomplishment in September 2019.

Here's how your child can participate in the Bookworm Club Challenge:

1 - Fill out this Registration Form by Friday, 28 June.

2 - Choose 5 books that you have never read before to read over the summer holiday.

3 - Print and complete this Reading Records and Activity form and deliver to the library by Friday, 30 August 2019.

Please note:

  • Only students who will be returning to CIS for the next school year (2019-20) can participate.
  • Certificates and books will only be given to children that have submitted the completed Reading Records to the library by Friday, 30 August.
  • In grades Pre-K through Grade 1 students may read with or to an adult.

If you have questions or need help, contact Marie or Urania in the library.

Happy summer readings!
